EDMEDiA in Alliance with
Transport Ideas offer our assistance to your Council to build a tourism web based presence to allow your region to:
- Build the web infrastructure capacity of your local town attractions
- Profile the region for tourism and business development; and
- Promote networking and together grow the region’s economic base.
The consortium of EDMEDiA and Transport Ideas would be pleased to assist you in designing and implementing a regional web portal presence. We offer a total solution that empowers your Council to be engaged with your business community and their potential customers.
The offering, with a range of options starting at just $4,500 (ex GST) entails:
- Registering your web domain, establishing professional email accounts. Taking care of hosting management for you! No need to build servers, employ IT staff, buy expensive software or incur overheads!
- Training your staff so they have the ability to edit the website with confidence. An introduction to campaign management to ensure the site stays fresh and engaging.
- Partnering with your Council to encourage regional economic growth via the promotion of local town attractions and attract the tourism dollar to the region.
- Promotion via web and viral marketing methods. More web visitors to your regional site and local attraction sites will promote and encourage business transactions.
- Linking your web presence to a wider web infrastructure tailored to attract regional economic development from a national and international basis.
You may be eligible for a $4,500 grant under the Small Communities Awareness Fund that would cover the total cost and not require any matching funding from your Council. The links to the application form and other information is below, if applicable.
